Dr J A is one of the world’s leader in Lyme Disease and Co-Infection’s treatments.
All his patient reviews are stellar. He is listed as a LLMD on all Lyme patient websites. I don’t believe he actually sees patients though as he is more on the research side now a days.
But he has a whole team of providers under him which he personally trained.

Bartenderbonnie, thank you for your response! I did some reading on their site. They only give 21 days of antibiotics. Then they chalk everything else up to Post Lyme Treatment Syndrome. I am not sure they aren't the people who coined that term.
So bottom line for me. It is a no go. But I did a search on Lymedisease.org (I think was the name). And came up with 67 Lyme docs. And three would see children. So at least she has some options.
Again, thank you for responding.

Dr J lost most of his team last year after a brief illness that closed his clinic temporarily. But he is back, up and running. The PA’s that worked with him before his illness moved to open their own clinic in DC, so they are there as well. They are the only llmd’s in the DC area.
