For a week now the neuropathy in hands has increased to where I'm on gabapentin. Also odd pins and needles in head one in particular from neck to right below center of scalp.

Very sorry to hear Tcoach1.
This disease never stops giving, ugh..

Are you currently seeing a LLMD provider?
Are you currently treating with antibiotics or natural herbal protocols?

Do you have any other symptoms?
Have you recently had any cervical injuries?

It sounds like you need to see a medical provider because it sounds really painful to deal with on a daily basis, especially sleeping.
Hope it subsides for you.

Tcoach1, I am so sorry this is happening. I know I sound like a broken record. But please check out the mHBO (mild hyperbaric oxygen treatment( thread in medical.

For me, it gave me my life back. I still do maintenance dives. The main reason is it keeps my neuropathy in check. I also use it as anti aging as I am up there in years.

Please check it out.

Tcoach1,

Please do follow kgg's suggestion and read the mHBOT thread (from the beginning, if possible).

Burning and needling pain/neuropathy from head to toe were among my worst symptoms.

I, and many others, have been relieved of neuropathy and gotten their lives back via mHBOT, thankfully.

Please join the thread! If it is too much to read, feel free to PM me and I will give you more info.

Yes, I fully recall the awful sensation of burning, crawling, and numbness on the scalp.

Can you explain more about your HBOT experience? Did you do high pressure (over 1.5 ATA) or mild pressure (1.5 ATA or under)? How many sessions over what period?

Protocol/details are everything with mHBOT.

Sorry to hear that, Tcoach1.

Did anyone determine a cause of the chest pain?

It's not a common reaction to HBOT, although oxygen itself is a vasoconstrictor so maybe that could have had something to do with it if you had underlying cardio or pulmonary conditions.

Also, if you were doing very high pressures with 100% medical grade 02 (not what we are discussing as "mild hyperbaric/mHBOT" here and on the mild hyperbaric thread), you may have experienced oxygen toxicity. Everyone's threshold is different.
