Baicalin Is not to be confused with Baicalein. Yet they are both reported o be from the Scutellaria baicalensis plant and are known as Chinese Skullcap herbal remedies.
What should we be looking for if we want to try Baicalin?

BB that's what I was wondering too. Baicalin or baicalein? I sure want to try it. I googled it for MCAS and it's supposed to help that also.

AK-- I use some herbs from woodland essence. I start with one drop in a glass of water. I am not affiliation with this company other than I buy their products.
It does have a lot of alcohol in in the tincture, though. Start small!

Just wanted to mention that I bought a Now brand supplement called D-Flame that has some Chinese Skullcap as one of many ingredients. It's suppose to help with inflammation so I'm giving it a try.
I'll check back in after a few days and report any noticeable effects.

So far I'm taking just one capsule of the Now brand in the evening. Makes me tired. Will check back in if I can tolerate more.

Chinese skullcap - reported to be effective to treat MY infection = chlamydia pneumoniae (very common co infection). I take it daily in an attempt to lower my inflammation.
IL23 looks to trigger IL 17….Th17 cells.

Hmm, I have some Scullcap that I take once in a while to help me sleep. It's been years since I read about it, and I forgot that it can reduce inflammation.
