Could you share your knowledge on honokilo and its implications on Lyme disease treatment?
Thanks.

“Honokiol is often used as an effective therapeutics for several medical conditions [9]. The anxiolytic, analgesic, depressive, antithrombotic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, anti-tumorigenic, and neuroprotective effects of honokiol are well-known [10, 11].”

It is recommended for anxiety, depression, inflammation caused by infection like long covid and I know prominent LLMD’s are now using it. It also heals or helps heal dysfunctioning mitochondria.

Thank you for this mig.

I order all my supplements from Natural Healthy Concepts.
No, this isn’t an advertisement.
They happen to carry all the supplement companies that my LLMD uses. Unlike my LLMD, they offer a rewards program.

I did check to see if they carry honokiol. They carry 4 different brands, here’s one of them.
https://www.nhc.com/honopure-by-econugenics

Honokiol is similar to a new herb I’ve been taking for one month.
It’s called Schisandra chinensis.

https://www.nhc.com/search?keywords=Schisandra%20chinensis

“ Schisandra chinensis is a plant whose fruits have a long-standing use in traditional Chinese medicine. They have been used in the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, respiratory failure, cardiovascular diseases, body fatigue and weakness, excessive sweating, and insomnia.”

Y https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6412213/

“It is also reported to reduce hunger, delay aging, increase vitality, and improve mental health. They demonstrate neuro and hepato-protective, anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, detoxification, immunostimulant, antiviral, and anti-cancer activities, as well as cardiovascular and skin-protective properties”

I have started dreaming, which means I finally achieved rem’s.
I have also lost 5 lbs, have word recall back and lowered my pain threshold. I added nightly ginger tea, local honey, lemon and ginger which has helped me greatly.

mig, Have you noticed any reductions in symptoms while using honokiol? Is it a worthwhile supplement to try do you think?
