I had the same symptoms 2 years ago except my upper right side was more painful. It started as a dull pain in my chest wall along with very painful shoulder, spine and back pain.
My primary sent me for a cardio workup to eliminate heart issues. I had an electrocardiogram, a chest radiograph and a stress test. Cardiologist could find nothing wrong.
Next I was off to the Neurologist because they wanted to eliminate MS. A MS hug has similar pain across the rib cage, very painful. MRI showed nothing wrong.
After that, I was sent to Gastroenterology, had multiple ultrasounds and a cat scan. Nothing found so they hypothesized it could be costochondritis due to my severe pain.
Costochondritis is inflammation of the costal cartilage at the articulation of the ribs and sternum. It is an important consideration in the differential diagnosis of chest pain.
The pain radiating from shoulder blades, spine and back was diagnosed as fibromyalgia.
All 3 of the possible differentials can be infectious in nature.
My symptoms went away with Babesia treatment, Malarone and antibiotics.
It will still rear its ugly face every now and again, out of the blue, and take my breath away. So I take 1/2 a Xanax and ride it out. So scary.
Sorry but you need to rule out any cardiac issues first and foremost. Then move on to eliminate other differential diagnoses.

Thanks for reply BartenderBonnie,
so far I've only gotten an ultrasound
the pains you experienced seemed to have been more severe that what I've had
its on and off with me with no pattern whatsoever, still lots of flatulence, gurgling and more burping that normal
also kind of alternating between full feeling to hunger pains
more blood work is being checked now at the lab

Have you seen a GP and / or gastroenterologist ?
Do you have some kind of acid reflux or gastritis?
Pancreas / liver issues?
Could the pain in your shoulder / back be muscular? Posture issues?

I still have Fibromyalgia pain, have you found anything that helps?

echorox, I would stop trying to tie this to Lyme. At least to your doc. And just advocate for gall bladder testing. My aunt went a year before they ended up removing her gall bladder. It was a very hard year.
So next time you see them, ask for a HIDA scan and perhaps a CT scan. Hida looks at the functioning of the gall bladder. My aunts gall bladder did not have a lot of stones. But it was non functioning. Important information.
Or perhaps a second opinion from a different doc, not suggesting Lyme?

that is good advice, thanks for letting me know,
incidentally, I had never heard of the HIDA scan
my regular tests that are related to gall bladder always showed up ok

To answer your question,
I certainly do have indigestion from time to time
never told I had gastritis, but told many times I've IBS
they found diverticula during a scope a few years ago
never had pancreas or liver issues really
the activity that could possibly cause the back and shoulder discomfort I'm actually not doing anymore

I agree with KGG about the HIDA scan to check the functioning of the gallbladder.
Also I wouldn't mention Lyme either.
I had an ultrasound then a MRI with and without contrast of the abdomen. That led to an appointment with a gastro doc and the HIDA scan, endoscopy and fibroscan.
Currently I'm still in the process of dealing with my abdominal issues but am so glad to be seeing a gastro doc.
