Hi Everyone!

I have just returned from four and a half weeks at the Sanoviv Medical Institute on the Baja coast in Mexico.. www.sanoviv.com

I have had lyme disease since January, 2001. I was on antibiotics for 2 1/2 years. I continued to suffer from fatigue, foggy head and excruciating pain in my left shoulder blade.

While searching on the web for an intergrative hospital, I came across Sanoviv. Sanoviv is just how it looks and sounds on its website. I found the doctors to be highly skilled and caring.

I underwent extensive diagnostic testing and evaluation during the first 3 days.

The therapy which was designed for me was basically focused on detoxifying my body and boosting my immune system.. My treatments consisted of the following:

Detox diet
High doses of Vitamin C, EDTA (chelation therapy) DMSO, IV Glutathione and ,
selenium,
bio-immunological therapy
Multi vitamins and minerals
Specific supplements
Injectable homeopathic-isopathic remedies
Oral antibiotics
Homeopathics
Hyperbaric chamber
Colonics
Special enemas
Psycho-spiritual program (meditation, visualization and relaxation)
Complete spa

My amalgams were removed improperly over the last ten years and I was full of heavy metal toxins.

I had with me xrays of my spine which I'd had taken in November while I was in New Zealand. The Dr. who had previously read these xrays said that my spine showed no abnormalities. I decided that I would show my doctor at Sanoviv these xrays as I was nearing the end of my stay and felt a whole lot better but still was having constant pain in my shoulder blade.

They ordered an MRI and noticed important spondilolistesis of C5 over C6, disc protrusion of C6-C7, chronic degenerative disease in T4, T5, T6, T7 and T8

I felt very confident with the Orthopedic and Neurosurgeon assigned to my case and underwent the procedure of a fusion of C5-C6, application of Casper plate and left iliac bone graft placement.

I was out of bed and walking the following morning after the 5 hour surgery.

I am now back home wearing a super neck brace. I will start physiotherapy soon .

I am truly grateful for having found Sanoviv on the Web and for being able to go and be treated by their fantastic staff.

I thought that I would like to share my experience with all of you on Lymenet. I am very hopeful that the quality of my life will be much improved once my spine has healed.

I am sending all my healing thoughts your way.

Cheers!
Jeannie

Hi,

Glad you are feeling better. Looks like a beautiful place, very expensive though. I don't know too many people who can afford that, but no doubt worth it.

Good Luck

LymeGirlInAz,
Please feel free to email me, I will happily answer any questions that I can about Sanoviv. (I sent you my email address) It is very safe there. You cannot leave the guarded/gated complex. This is not only because of the location but also because you are on such a strict diet and drinking pure water. You are kept so busy from 7am (when you have your daily Dr. visit) until 9 or 10 at night that you are ready to crash at bedtime. It is a toxic free environment and you wear their clothing (a sweatsuit).

Many of the guests were there as a result of fundraising done by their church, selling their RRSP's or by selling off anything to raise the money. It is the only hospital like it in the world. I saw so many cases of people that Dr's back home had given up on, leave there feeling fantastic.

It is truly an incredible place!

Take care!

Cheers!
Jeannie

I had a phone consult wiht Dr Bautista today from Sanoviv, and I just would like to get a little more info about the place from you also, I am considering trying this treatment out. I did email you earlier but got no response back. Please let me know, thanks and have a great day.

Hi Txjb,

I have been away for a few days, so I'm sorry I couldn't reply sooner. My head is clear now. I believe my clarity has come from the comprehensive detox I had. I will email you and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have on Sanoviv.

Cheers!
Jeannie

Hi I know it's been a long time since sbeannie posted but I have very limited funds and I'm trying to decide between the 2 Envita or Sanoviv and I'm interested in hearing about sbeannie's current status and more about her experience at Sanoviv. Has anyoneh heard any news? How can I contact her?

I"m new to the board. I guess I could PM her but I dont know if she'll get it because she hasn't been on for a while. Or has anyone else gone to Sanoviv and had a good experience with lyme treatment? How much did it cost and what was the protocol? I couldn't get any specific answers from them and looking for first hand experiences.

Thanks [Smile]
