Several irregularities that I don't understand came back with my daughter's blood test results.

Can anyone shed some light?

Carbon Dioxide 16 Low
Iron 34 Low
Transferrin Saturation 9.2 Low
Fructosamine 272 High
IgA2 9 Low
IgG, Serum 711 Low
H. influenzae Type B (IgG) <0.11 Low

Thanks for any help.

Marie

I was just wondering how one walks out of a doctor's office without going over the blood tests carefully. If he just faxed them to you then that is different.

I mean no offense Marie. I always go over every lab figure with a fine-toothed comb before I leave the office. I don't care if he has 100 patients to see after me. He ordered the tests and needs to take time to interpret them.

Kaos - Yes, he did just fax them to me.

I thought I'd get a jump on this before our next visit which isn't until late June.

If I can understand the results better, I can then investigate/research medical as well as holistic solutions.

This is a forum for medical questions...??

I noticed also the following irregularities:

Anti-Nuclear Ab Titer <1:40 Positive Rubella Ab IgG 2.20 Positive
Measles Ab IgG Positive

If anyone can help shed some light on this, I'd most appreciate it.

Marie

Marie,

My son, Jake (age 17), also has a low Iga2.

There is a post about this and I have brought it to the top for you to see.

Peggy -

Can't thank you enough for this info. My daughter has had chronic sinus problems and infections in her adenoids since she was 7 years old (she is now 14).

They are definitely contributing to her headache symptoms.

I will look into this. Perhaps even visit your doc in MD.

I keep finding pieces of the puzzle!!!!

Thanks again....big hug your way...and a prayer or two.

Marie
