where i itch all over my skin..especially my head for some reason...drives me nuts! if i scratch it , it gets worse...

dr. jones once told me it was nerve endings, bugs dying...one step better than nerve pain..one step closer to healing, so that was good...

anyone else get this?

Itching used to drive me nuts. I thought I was going to scratch all the skin off my arms.

Questran stopped it almost immediately. I think it's some kind of toxins/die off.

maybe soemthing else?
my herxs only last a day....and i only pulse the levoquin with biaxinxl and plaq for 10 days a month...

Strange, I had an IV Glutathione treatment that afternoon and it seemed to perk me up a bit.

BTW: how did your daughter's MTV audition go?

NARRAGANSETT - It's been a pretty good couple of weeks for Narragansett High School senior Kady Hall.
Last week, she was one of only 25 high school seniors from across the country to be accepted in to Emerson College's Department of Performing Arts. This week Kady found out that she's going to 1515 Broadway to possibly appear on MTV.
On Wednesday, Kady was selected over 99 other candidates as the Cox/MTV "Choose or Lose" Correspondent in Rhode Island.
"Choose or Lose" is a political awareness campaign that encourages young adults to get involved in the political process.
Throughout 2004, Kady will create her own written and video news pieces related to voting and the upcoming presidential campaign for possible use on Cox Channel 3, MTV and MTV.com.
Kady, 17, said if she were old enough to vote, a presidential candidate would get her vote based only on what they can do directly for her family. For Kady this means fixing the health care system.
Along with her mother and 11-year old brother Jordan, Kady has Lyme Disease.
Lyme Disease is a tick transmitted inflammatory disorder that begins with a characteristic of a skin rash and may be followed weeks to months later by neurologic, cardiac or joint abnormalities.
She said that she would like to see Massachusetts Senator John Kerry beat President George W. Bush in the November election.
"I follow politics and watch all the debates but I also learn a lot from talking to my mom," she said. "I like John Kerry because I think he has a lot of good ideas about Medicare."
Over the past three years Kady has taken six pills a day to treat the illness. "I've felt pretty good lately," she said. "This is pretty much the last step in the process."
Despite the illness, Kady has thrived in and out of school.
Aside from participating in theater three nights a week for three hours each night, she is the co-captain of the lacrosse team and works part-time at a movie theater and Brooks Pharmacy.
Secretary of State Matt Brown, the honorary chair of the "Choose or Lose" campaign in Rhode Island, announced Kady as the winner at a short ceremony in the school's media center and said she will represent Narragansett, Rhode Island and all of New England with dignity.
"I know she will help send a message out to all young people to get out and vote," said Brown.
Lisa Ashton, Kady's mother said that when she got the phone call from Narragansett High School Associate Principal Dan Warner she was a little nervous about what it could be.
"I haven't heard from Mr. Warner in the four years that Kady has been a student hear because she is such a good kid," said Ashton.
Kady's grandmother, Donna Loomis said even though she doesn't watch much MTV or have the same political views as Kady, she couldn't be happier for her granddaughter.
"Everything is just blooming for her right now. Life is just bubbling over," said Loomis. "The kids and I have different political views. I'm a fan of President Bush. I like to call the Democrats policies, 'Democratic giveaways,' but I'll watch her, I promise."
Kady watches MTV on a regular basis, but not to watch videos or reality shows. She's interested in the channel for its production value.
"I like TRL(Total Request Live) because I'm interested in the camera angles and I like seeing how the shows all come together," said Kady, the second lead in the school's theater club.
For as long as she can remember, Kady has loved everything about theater. "When I was a little girl I would run around the yard acting like I was in a play or movie," Kady said.
Kristen Ernst, 17, one of the 17 Narragansett High School seniors that auditioned to be the correspondent, said Kady deserved to win because it meant more to her.
"We're in theater together, so I see her really getting into things," Kristen said. "I think this will be an unbelievable experience for her."
Warner said he had no doubts that Kady would represent the school and the town well.
"Make no bones about it, I wouldn't hesitate putting any of our students into any national spotlight," said Warner.
Fellow Narragansett High School senior, Tracy Butterworth, 17, said she thought Kady deserved to win because she cares more about the political process than other people her age.
"I'm so happy for her. A lot of kids who try out for this type of thing don't really care about politics, they just want to be on MTV," said Tracy. "I know she follows it and was willing to put the time in."
For Kady, the correspondent's job is more than a chance to be on MTV, it's a chance for her to get involved in politics and spread the word to others.
"It sounds clich�, but every vote does count. Just look at the last presidential election," she said. "The decisions that the candidates are going to make today are going to have the greatest effect on our generation. The young people who don't vote are wasting their time. It's because of our freedom that we can vote. It's a privilege."
Kady and her mother will fly to New York on April 19 and spend three days training with the MTV News team. She will also receive a tour of the MTV studios, a MTV prize pack and official MTV credentials.
"I'm really not sure what they are going to have me doing," she said. "I'm excited to go because I love New York City."
Kady's mother isn't sure what is going to happen in New York and she has to arrange to get a few days of from work, but the chance for her daughter to experience something like this is something she isn't going to miss.
"I'm just going to tag along for the ride and just be there to support her," said Ashton.
