Pull Mercury from Mouths of Dead
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SWEDEN: May 21, 2004

STOCKHOLM - Amalgam tooth fillings made with mercury should be pulled out before people are cremated to cut emissions of the highly toxic metal, a Swedish government agency report proposed on Wednesday.

Mercury, also known as quicksilver, has been linked to neurological problems and is especially harmful to young children and fetuses.
It would be "difficult from the ethical point of view, but it is nevertheless desirable to be able to decrease the emission of quicksilver," the Chemical Inspectorate report said.

It calculated that since three quarters of Swedes have amalgam fillings, the population carries some 2.8 tons of mercury in their mouths.

In Sweden 70 percent of the dead are cremated, so about 1.9 tons end up in the air or in crematorium gas purification systems, the report said.

The irony is that it's still allowed to be used, but they're worried about the toxic ramifications AFTER the people die.

I wish that amalgam removal and chelation would've made a bigger impact on my ability to heal. I went thru the process for a year prior to beginning lyme treatment.

I'm still a mess.

I am finding that those who don't fair so well have one of the following...

1) Still need to continue...it takes YEARS to remove ALL of the metals

2)Possible HHV, EBV or other virus causing the hold up

3) Wrong metals removed the first time thru.

Just a thought.

------------------I hate to sound stupid, but are you saying that amalgam fillings make lyme worse, or prolong the recovery?

Wait until you see some of the statistics of the tons of mercury chlorine manufacturers are releasing into the air! Just another reason why one can't find a parking place around any doctors office complex these days.

I hasten to add that the environmental toxins, mainly mercury (plus a few others) made it possible in the first place for bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites to settle in our already weakened body, and yes, as Trout said, there is no chance for health as long as these toxins remain in our body. It's "clean house" time and then we have a chance at a healthy life again.

I highly recommend it -- it seems to be a never-ending struggle unless we do.

Take care.
