I'm up to 1500 mgs IV 2x pr week and boy does it pack a punch. I feel like there's a Cadillac on my head. I don't know if this is working but the dose is going up to 2000mgs next week.
I'm not sure if this is a herx, or if the Metals & bb are getting stirred up in my head. Whatever it may be, the Glutathione hit me like a ton of bricks.
Anyone else doing Glutathione IVs and having a similar reaction.

I add in 1000 mg as a chaser at the end of my drip when about 20 cc is left.
I always feel it is helpful. Along with magnesium, the 2 are great for lyme symptoms. I even notice my vision is clearer and sharper afterwards. In fact, I just had a drip and I was thinking maybe I should up the dose soon.

I started with 5ml IV 2x week for a month since 5/27 I am doing 10ml IV every day. The first 2 doses were a miracle. My symptoms cleared up in 10 minutes, my doctor could not believe it. Of course it didn't last long. It has made me stronger. The last few days it feels like I am herxing, more aches, pains and feeling sicker.

I've been taking a natural product that raises your body's glutathione levels for the past few months and have had tremendous success with my Lyme symptoms. But about 4 weeks into it, I had a period of about 5 days or so where, all of a sudden, wham! All my symptoms came back in full swing. I got kind of freaked out thinking that this stuff wasn't working anymore when it dawned on me .... could this be a herx? The timing appeared about right and it only lasted a few days and then was gone and I was back to being to feeling great again. SO - yes! I do believe that it is possible to have a 'glutathione herx-type reaction'!

Really glad to hear that you are feeling so good. The other day I was asking Pat how you were doing. What is it that you are taking? Keep up the good work!!
Cheers! Jeannie

Hi, it's really late and I'm half asleep, so I hope this makes sense. But I've been on 2000mg/day of NAC for the last 5-6 weeks, and have noticed a huge difference. I did go through what might have been a three week herx, but it's hard to say, because suddenly I can do a lot more, and I'm pushing myself physically to put in full days, after lying around sick for four years. Like on Thursday I worked a 17-hour day straight, and just felt really tired the next day, without relapsing (so far...). So the relapsing of the last few weeks might not be a herx, but just relapsing in response to a press for a higher functionality level. Also, I'm sleeping six hours a night on average now, as opposed to nine. And on days when I am sick, I'm still able to get some stuff done, even though it hurts to do it.
But I still wouldn't trust myself at a full time job yet.

Sorry, I should have written in the last post that I'm on a lot of other abx and herbs as well, and did a fair amount of craniosacral therapy over the last three months. I didn't mean to make this latest supplement sound like some sudden miracle cure.

Liz can you tell me about craniosacral therapy? It's offered at the same clinic where I get the IV Gluta & I've heard other patients praise it. It's no covered by insurance & is expen$ive, but I'm told it's very helpful.
