I'm trying to work DMSA into abx & vitamin regimens. Has anyone else done this? My LLMD told me to take DMSA (1hr before meals) for 3 days then take 11 days off. Trying to squeeze in abx, Mepron, acidophillus & vitamis is heavy lifting. Any thoughts or sugestions?

I used DMSA and will probably use it again. I stayed off all supplements but took my abx as usual...I did not have any problems with it...

Ed, what abx were you on when you took the DMSA? Were there any interaction issues?

Have you done a challenge to see if the DMSA lowered your metals levels?

I dont recall. Better check with the doc on that one. I am challenging this weekend. I had mercury fillings removed 3 months ago so I am sure the protocol did not touch the mercury - doc thinks it will in fact be higher this time...

Ed, my LLMD suggested I take Alpha Lipoic acid while on DMSA. It's supposed to be a "natural" chelator.
