My tests came back from Igenex and even though I'm just two months out from infection, there were (low)titers that indicated Lyme and Babesia. My LLD had thought it was Ehrlichia and Lyme so he had me 400mg of doxy a day, but I guess he was wrong. So now he wants me on the Mepron/ Zithro combo for six weeks before finihing with Doxy.
.
Two questions: where's the most reliable but cheapest place to buy these drugs and what's the general consensus on continuing the doxy or not. My doc says not until we deal with the babesia.
Thanks folks.

The Canadian pharmacy that I have been using for about 4 years now has the following on Zithromax. They don't seem to have the Mepron, but, it could be under another name that I don't know about.

Drug USA name: Zithromax
Drug Generic name:
Drug Canada name: Zithromax
Drug Chemical name: AZITHROMYCIN
Dosage: 600mg
Quantity: 30 units
Price total: $376.80

Drug USA name: Zithromax
Drug Generic name:
Drug Canada name: Zithromax
Drug Chemical name: AZITHROMYCIN
Dosage: 250mg
Quantity: 30 units
Price total: $135.30

The above prices are from www.realfastdrugstore.com

I've used them for years. Not only are their prices great, but, their service is awesome. The turn around for a refill is from 6-10 days which I find to be very rare as most other pharmacies can take a lot longer getting your drugs to you.

To get them even faster, after you've set up your account with them...faxing is fastest, your doctor can fax the prescription directly from his office and that makes the turnaround time much quicker.

Compared the above prices with Walgreens online and they have ZITHROMAX 250MG TABLETS for $46.99 for 6 tablets and $132.89 for 18 tablets, so you can get the picture about how less the realfastdrugstore.com charges.

Walgreens was ZITHROMAX 600MG TABS for $164.99 for 10 tablets, and $486.09 for 30 tablets.
www.realfastdrugstore for some of the best prices on the internet and very reliable. Reliable is the key, for some may have better prices, but they jack you around on actually getting you the drugs.

I hope this helps you.

Rosemary
