Are there ticks other than deer ticks that transmit Lyme Disease to humans? I heard a rumor today that all other ticks can transmit this but could not find anything on the net or CDC site to verify this. Everything I came across only discussed deer ticks transmitting LD.

Not only are there many varieties of ticks that can transmit Lyme.....also included in this group are mosquitos, biting flies, cats, dogs, etc. Anything that can bite you can transmit Lyme and other lovely things.
