Has anyone ever had little pellet-like knots under the skin?

I have a tiny little knot on the top of my right hand which came up in the space of a couple of hours. It looks like a little BB under my skin.

Does anyone know what this is? Should I just leave it alone or . . . ?

I have had knots like that appear on spots that have been recently bruised. I had one recently on my leg where there was a bad bruise. One the bruise was gone the knot stay for several days and then went away. Did you bump yourself in that spot maybe?

Hi Hillary,

I did not bump myself in that spot. Although I bruise very easily, this spot just popped up in a matter of hours it seems.

Is anything about this disease rational? Guess not.

Thanks for responding.

Underneath all my skin in arms legs and torso, I have bumps like cysts. I am loaded with them like I have an infestation. I am looking for others with this to see if lyme related or not.

Do you notice them in other places? Much like cystic breasts - which I have but all over excluding face, hands, neck, and back.

Whoa! I have lots of cysts, too! I have "fluidy" ones on my shins, my jawline, and behind my knees. I have tiny "bb" ones on my thighs in between my muscles? Also have a few "bb" ones around my elbow, but I was told those are arthritis "nodes". I was curious about these, too! Anyone else?

I get the bumps and the cysts. My dogs are both infected and they also get this stuff. They never had a cyst prior to Lyme and they have alot of them now. Some are hard and some of filled with fluid. I keep telling their vet it must be due to Lyme especially since all three of us have this.

I "grew" a golf ball like thing on my left wrist several years ago. It looked a lot worse than it felt. On abx, it went away.

Mine started out no bigger than pea, but hard. Now fairly large...

Have them all over bod now.

1 started small on hands now have grown all the way across my hand. Looks just spiffy, yeh right.

My friend long time ago started calling lump-lump as joke.

Year or 2 later noticed lumps popping up all over. Following breast bone, untill PT after accident did not even know had them all way around. Very painful to try & work out.

Now that they are getting larger, pain radiating from them has increased big time.

Asked my doc, he said oh, you have fm lumps. What is that mean????
Surgeon, said if he started taking them out I would be scared all over. Needless to say I rejected that idea.

I am interested what is in them. Yet, biopsy has not been offered.

Guess, if they did not know what they were looking for would be of no value anywho..

My bod is a mess. Maybe just too long untreated.

Samento may just be on my to do list...Just would like to have a doc who could moniter since I not sure how much sicker I can be.

Would be great to loose these thingys, OUCHY
