Hi again,

My specialist has decided to take me off doxy (2 per day) and put me on to minomycin, 2 per day initially and then on to 4 after a bit. Anyone have any opinions about this type of abx compared to doxy? Bad experiences? Good experiences?

Cheers,

{R}

Im on it now,it is an intense drug,goes to your head and you can feel woozy so take it easy at first.I know it has helped many here with neoru problems.It penetrates the brain barrier and stays in your body pretty well.Do a search for minno sister and brothers or minno buddies.

I have gotten the most benefit from Minocin compared to all the other meds I have tried. It's great for blood-brain penetration. I took it with Zithromax. I can only handle it a few days at a time, then I get too "stupid" to continue. Then I go off, and let my head clear, I have seen some significant gains in cognitive skills during my OFF times. And am pulsing on and off of it.

Good drug. And cheap too.

I am on Mino. now,I do 3/week and take the weekend off..he ha! When I wake up in the morning I am very slow,not with body but my brain. Wow, I guess this mino is really hitting me big time.

I am fending off the horrible migrains and sometimes it sounds like my brain is short circuiting (my family would agree with that one).It actually takes me a couple of hours to feel like I can communicate properly.

This mino does pack a punch,hitting me harder than some of the I.V. meds. I was on.

Hope you feel better,mino has helped clear my fog,now if I could get it to clear my house(Lyme and cleaning do not mix)Uhhh! Help!!
