I have a new symptom - bladder issues. It seems that when I have to go, I don't go enough and then leak a bit. Also, it seems that I have a strange sensation in the tract itself leading to the end of the tract (if you know what I mean - trying not to be too graphic). Anyone else have this symptom? Guys?
Thanks.
Ed

Morning Ed,

I'm not a guy but, when my bladder acts like that I assume and treat for yeast. Usually I have been bad about carbs the week before.

Drinking cranberry juice, even the sweetened kind gives me almost immediate relief. I have also taken oil of oregano and garlic. It seems to me that there are other things that I do but can't remember them just now.

Drinking LOTS of water is always good.

It could be a reaction(irritation) to a med you are taking too?

Mel

ED, my LLMD said that bb can cause all kinds of urinary/prostate issues.

I don't quite comprehend what your describing? Do you have a burning sensation?
Do you think you have a post void residual or are you dribbling after urination? A urologist can scan your bladder w/an ultrasound to see if there's a PVR.

If it's dribbling after urinating, a urologist showed me that if you gently squeeze underneath & behind the scrotum when you're done, it helps drain any additional urine. If your symptoms are bothersome, you should see a urologist.

I take Beta Sitosterol & Saw Palmetto as well and drink Cranberry juice from time to time.

Lymelighter,
Thanks for the info. I have had some dribling after urinating, some hesitancy, some feeling as if I have to go but nothing, and a little burning in the penis at times. The symptoms have just started in the past day or two so I will give it another few days to see if it clears a bit. Thanks again.
