I don't know what is going on but my husband thought lyme disease when he looked at it.

What I have are 3 red dots that are white around them. They are not swollen and do not itch or hurt. They are across the top of my foot.

I do not know of any ticks being on me but I do live in Penns Woods and our dog does get ticks but I don't know what kind he has had.

Does this sound like what the rash would look and feel like?

Thanks for your help.

DJ

Take a few good pictures of your foot, keep a log & photos of how the dots progress day by day. Note how you feel too. Thats all I can offer beacause it doesn't sound like one of the classic presentations of the rash. If it is a form of erythema migrans, and you do develop symptoms, then you will not be operating on memory and will have something to show a physician as they try to diagnose you.

Also, it could be a sign of one of the other tick borne infections, Bartonella, babisiosis (sp?) etc.

I would like to thank everyone who replied today. It will give me something to think about tonight. I will get the camera out and I will check out the websites that were sent. The red "dots" are so strange and they must be from the inside out because the skin does not have any cut/opening like a bite or scratch. The white ring around them is odd also. There is also no irritation or feeling around them. Leave it to me to get something unexplainable.

Thank you all again, djk
