To those with head problems...

I have had various types of headaches associated with lyme - pounding, dull, pressure, etc. However, during this relapse, I have had weird head pains. I call them twinges of pain becuase they come and go very quickly (< 1 min) and have been occuring all over my head (back, sides, front). It is not a headache by any definition but to me just a weird and worrisome pain... Anyone else experience this?

Thanks.

Ed

Hey Ed,
I get this too; sometimes in the front, sometimes in the temple, sometimes in the back of my head near my neck; you're not alone. I don't really know why either; just part of this stupid disease..

lifewithlyme,
Thanks for the response. At least I am not alone. I grew up in Southington and my parents moved recently to Portland. Have you lived in Wallingford long?

I get those types of headaches. For the most part they come right behind my left eye but have also had them in the back of my head as well.

You are not alone.

I to get those pains to but not anymore. it got so bad for me that it sent me to the emergecy room twice. But as you say it's not really a headache. I don't know if you are on any kind of pain medication, but my problem was that I was taking Percocet for pain and what happened was I was over dosing on tylenol. Percocet has about 600mg of it and I was simply getting to much. It wasn't that I was taking more than I was supposed to, but they told me that it builds up in your system. Hope the info helps.

God Bless
