Hi all,

Last few days I have had this AWFUL salty taste in my mouth, like I'd just drank a glass of seawater, that bad, UGH! I've also got a bit of a film on the tongue... sounds like candida playing up? I've been on doxy again for a while, and my acne is SO bad also... gah!!

Hmmm, just reading up on my post about acne the other day... it's possible that both my acne and taste probs are candida?

Hi RainmakeR

Strange thing about the acne. Isn't doxy supposed to treat acne too?

Also, I tried this detox program a couple of years ago because of terrible candida and it resolved the candida! First test candida was off the charts, after the detox program, it was 0. It was called Super Detox Program from Physician's Choice, they have a web site, check google.

Must say that I also was on a strict candida diet at the time, I bought the book the yeast connection, it had some decent recipes. It was a big diet change, living without sauces, sweets, fruits, grains, etc.

Of course, check with your doc.

Good Luck

Hello Rainmaker, I'm new to the board so bare with me. I saw your post an I am suffering from the same problem. I wonder if that is caused from the Lyme. Or do you even have lyme.

Thanks
God Bless

Hi Rainmaker!

First off could you quit making it rain here in North Central Texas?

One of my first symptoms after my bull's eye rash was all water tasted salty to me. It didn't matter whether it was tap or bottled. In my case, it didn't have anything to do with yeast.

I went into remission for a while and then had sinus surgery and relapsed. Now water is salty again. I'm pretty sure it's a lyme "thang".

Good Luck and Take Care...Terri

Ok, I cleaned the HELL out of my mouth last night, gave both teeth and tongue a thorough scrubbing, gargled nystatin solution for a while (worst. tasting. stuff. ever.), and then ate a bowl of probiotic yoghurt. I STILL have the salty taste. The only other thing I can think of is that I started taking glucosamine supplements a week or two ago once more... I was on them one other time, same brand and type, consumed the whole bottle but never had the salty taste. Perhaps there is something different with this batch?
