I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue for the last two years. but after reading the things on this site, something is fishy. sounds more like Lyme to me.
If a person is in the latter stages of lyme, can I be treated and brought to full recovery, or is some of the damage permanet. For example I read that one of the symptom is your throat closing up. Mine has been doing that for the past two years. My head is also very sore and thats not a symptom of Fibro. I have widespread pain througout my body, there's nothing that does'nt hurt on me. I feel like I am dying.
Also can you recomend a laboritory that I can use for my testing. Thank you for your help. excuse the spelling I've been up all night.

P.S
What are some of the other symptoms of Lyme

God Bless

Late stage Lyme can be treated...it's a long road, but there is hope. Most of all you need to find a LLMD(Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) who knows how to treat it. Keep in mind Lyme is a clinical diagnosis.

You may not show up positive on a test. Many people who have Lyme never get a positive test.

If you've had it for very long your body may not be producing enough antibodies to test positive. So don't hang all of your hopes on a test.

Some people swear by Bowen but most people here use Igenex www.igenex.com

For the Lyme test you want the Western Blot IgM and IgG. The test number or codes are 189 and 188.

You can go to the site and print off the forms and take them to any Doctor or you can call igenex and order a kit that has all the packing, the tubes and prepaid shipping with it. It handy.

If you want to test for co-infections there are other tests, but you might want to just start with the Lyme and go from there. Good luck.

Sounds familiar, I have had entire body aching/pain sometimes to the point I couldn't walk with out my legs stiffen so hard they hurt to move. First it was bursitis of the hips, spine/back problem, neck problem/got a full hysterectomy (oops that wasn't it) MS, then the final was we can't find anything wrong with you so were going to diagnose you with fibro, thats when I went to a llmd and he told me for 2 years I have had lyme, also clue I was bit by a tick 3 months before I fell ill and only got a bubble/no rash but it lasted for 2 months before it went away but all the doctors said my symptoms were not lyme disease symptoms which my biggest complaint was my legs would get hard as rocks and my groin area would be in pain while walking, which are symptoms along with I had a high white blood count for a month and low grade fever for over a month!!!! Now on abx but no guarantee how long it will take to turn this around could be months could be years, whew!!! Hope this helps a little.
