I am on my 7th day of Zithromax and I am totally exhausted.

It's been several months since I've been this tired.

Also, some of my vision symptoms and the all-over flu-like achiness came back after the first 3-4 days on Zithromax. I had a headache the first 5 days on it (it got worse after taking the Zith) and had some upset stomach.

Now everything is pretty much back to normal except that I'm so freakin tired. It's worse after I take the pill.

Could this be a symptoms of the Zith?

Jill, each antibiotic targets the infection in a different way, and in a different part of the body. So each time you start a new abx or combo, you can get a whole new kind of herx.

That's pretty much what sounds like is going on for you, especially since you are feeling better now. Hopefully the tiredness will pass as well, but if it stays bad, you might want to check with your doctor.

Hi Jill, the same thing happened to me. It does get better but your body needs time.

Keep with it and good luck.

Nancy
