he said that sometimes you just have to live with the aches and pains...that after being on abx you should be fine and that you never completly (sp) heal..
i know better and that is why i am going to LLMD.
i tested positive in 1995. no idea what test...went to ER when bulls eye was so big that i could not walk....of course they told me it was a spider bite...THEY EVEN TRIED TO SQUEEZE IT!!!! anyway 3 weeks later i called hospital and they said oh yeah it was positive. (lyme test)
i have pretty much just gone from dr to dr with treatment here and there since then.
it has never been bad until a year ago

Did your Dr. have you stop the abx? If you feel better on the abx and the first dr didn't take you off, why wouldn't you take the doxy until your next appointment?
This could be a good time to start taking magnesuim and using very warm baths to combat the bacteria, especially if you aren't going to take abx.
