hi,
I've been on Malarone for the past month for Babesia. I haven't really noticed anything strange except I have been feeling a flare up of all of my symptoms - especially the behind-the-eyes headache.
I was put back on for a month after my babesia symptoms seemed to have come back - I had done 2 months of malarone when i first started treatment.

good luck & let us know what you experience?

PS do make sure that you take it w/ a high fat meal. peanut butter works well.

thanks everyone for the information. After having Lyme since 1986 I doubt that I shall ever return to normal, but I keep trying with the help of Dr. B. Good luck to the rest of you.
