Hello all,

Thanks for the responses to the Zithro dosage and the lungs.

Quite sick from the herxing, more like severely sick.

I have not come across in all my searching about what I am going through.
I am alone right now, normally would travel to the ND and get the antibiotics tested on the vega machine to see if they are compatible, but because I am reacting to everything outside in an allergic manner, I am confined to the house now. Even reacting the humidity in the air, and I am certain it is lyme. I had been of the antibiotics for about 75 days. Been back on them, 10 days.

Here is what is happening to me when herxing. I dont think it is an allergic reaction to the zithro, cause after 2 days already know it is working.
I can only handle 250mgs a day with the flagyl.

I am getting throat swelling, lung swelling, and facial swelling. I feel like
these whole areas are sweeling and killing me, then I start to cough and bring up clear frothy mucus, and can breath tiny bit better.

I then itch all over, under the arms and body, and pain deep in the bones.

Biaxin did not give me this kind of herxing when I was on it with the flagyl.
I am I would say, reacting to the lyme in an allerigc way, do others have this?

Lyme MD has not had a patient like this.

I itch all over, severlly from the die-off of the zithro. I think it is going to work for me.

I think I have had lyme about 30 years, thought it was 15, but mom had told me lately that I was bit by tick quite a few times when we were out collecting birch firewood. All sisters were bit, none are sick.

Anyways, I do not have the typical arthritis. I do have a few finger bones throb, but it is more the thinking, and the allergic tendencies.

Lyme Md wants to see how I respond to this, then do the babesia testing later.
He is off work now, due to something.

Oh, I am also getting the crazy head symptoms now on zithro, like something is in my mind, had this as a first symptoms years ago, off and on.

This is 3rd day of zithro.

Not much withit today hope you can understand this message.

Basic question, has anyone else resonded to dieoff in an allergic like way like me?

Trish

I don't know if this will help you, but my boyfriend who has lyme (he's had it for 15 years, but only diagnosed a few weeks ago), suffered horribly with the "allergic to the world" symptoms for over 5 years (mainly throat swelling)--he did overcome this, so don't lose hope. He was confined to the house for a while too. His doctor (a gastroenterologist) discovered that he was suffering from severe dysbiosis of the bowel (which some associate with lyme)--kind of like leaky gut syndrome. After running tests, he put him on Asacol to heal it up, as well as probiotics and a natural thing called Tanalbit to take out the die-off bacteria. It took a little time, but it worked. Antibiotic use can cause bowel dysbiosis, which can cause the "allergic to everything" symptoms. Like I said, i'm not sure if this would help you, but perhaps it's a road to explore.
