Dear Lymies-

This started a month or so ago--major return of neuro-ended up in hospital on IV's for 2 and 1/2 days-just crashed.

Blood count was ok-out of hospital-feeling better but as the days go on-weakness returning with a vengance-whole body feels like water-

Can get up for an hour or so-then have to go to bed cause can't function.

On Ceftin/Zithro then changed to Flagel/Doxy for neuro. MD's don't really know what is going on.My Ph wants to stay at 5.0 or 5.5--Can't seem to get it up.

This feels real scary-I get so weak my heart feels like it is going to stop--weird feeling.

Has anyone experiencd this ? It is like pre-lyme-before meds.

My colon shut down 4 years ago--I don't sweat--etc. so am not detoxing well. (have to use an enema (yuk) every day-my brain doesn't even get a message that I might have "to go".

Do you think I am just totally toxic?

Please help--can't take every day being like this--but maybe someone can help me figure it out.

Desperate here!

Thanks so much to anyone--someone please respond asap, if you can.

Grateful,

Chocolat

Hi Cholate
Your having same problems sounds like i have had. 'Dr C put me on vitamine C you take a thousand mg a day adding one thousand each day up to fifteen a day and bowels get loose then back off until you go at least three times a day.

This has worked but i like you having problems with my colon and trouble going. Even with the vit c i still will go three days with out going. Im taking in more water but still nothing.

You do sound like your keeping the poisions cause that is also what i did> I thought it was cause at the time all i drank was diet coke but i drink only cool aid with splenda now. Which i do think has helped. But my energy is still nothing to write home about.

I also end up more in bed that anywhere. My stamina is zilch.

I think our bodys crashes when it goes threw stress on it such as your hospital problems. I have done that twice not hospital but seems i just crashed and so far each time i havent got back up yet.

Dont mean i wont right now im being treated for babs which im hopeing is causing some of this muscle weakness and pain.

Have Now flagle did make me weak to wanted to sleep all the time i could tell thirty minutes after i took it i would get sleepy.

Hope you feel better.

Graneet

I dont know if this will help but magnesium citrate should loosen things so if you are taking magnesium you might want to switch to the citrate.

I use to not go until I found out it was caused by eating wheat and dairy. (That was befor Lyme) I no longer eat either and it freed the bowels. I now take Primal Defense probiotic too but even with the antibiotics every day I still have to take the magnesium citrate instead of the glycinate if I eat a lot of nuts or something that tends to stop me up.

Usually a nautrapath dr is better at dealing with gut and bowel problems. I went to a ton of drs and no one helped me. One visit to a ND and she put me on an elimination diet and in 3 weeks I could tell for myself it was wheat and dairy. I only had to go to her 2 times years ago.

Like you I still suffer from unbearable fatigue but thats another problem. I sure hope you find some answere.

Hey guys-

Thanks so much for quick responses.

I am taking 20,000 units of C and not sure how much mag in an IV once a week--nothing is happening. Maybe need more mag on a daily basis. Have 3 different kinds-have to see if I have citrate.

Supposedly the spirocheets (sp)--brain !- load up in the bowel and put the nerves to sleep--

Maybe I will do raw vegs and some fruit exclusively--even tho' supposed to limit fruit to 1-maybe 2- a day.

Did try this once before but it made no difference.

Graneet--is your weakness just in muscles or an all over-total body thing-if you know what I mean.

My daughter had this--enemas for 9 years-hard to believe-but after 2+ years of treatment and the use of Turkey Rhubarb she started going again.

Can't take the T.R.--it makes me nauseous and feel awful. She still has to take 9-10 a night but works like a charm. Can get it from iHerb, I believe-some of you might want to try it.

Thanks Softy-Will do whatever I can.

Much appreciation

Choc.

HI chocolate,

Sorry you feel so weak,I had this kind of weakness after using the traumeel cream and going into lyme hell. Even though I was slowly coming along, I didn't get over this weakness until I added something for the liver. Like 3 different products, primal defense, and abx.

This is what worked for me and I was so happy cause I had spent months on the couch, not being able to go a day without a nap.

Hope you find something that works. Sorry you are having trouble again. It never ends with disease, and I get so PISSED off that people are well and then BANG.

Take Care

I get an all over weakness. Now if im sitting or laying down i seem fine but then if i get up and like cook or stand or walk a lot i get this all over literal weak feeling. Sometimes starts in the shoulders and goes down. But i think mine is babesia.
I dont seem to herx bad from the babs meds tho. But maybe it dont take much.

But i dont think im keeping toxins as bad with the water but the bowels well thats another thing. I agree with who ever it was talked about mag. Because now that i think about it i was taking some cheep mag from walmart and i was going so maybe it was the mag and vit c doing the job and i did feel much better when things was flowing normal. Now its back to the bla feeling.

Think i will have hubby get me some more i was taking four of them a day with the vit c. I never have went every day must less three times a day like dr c perscribes.

Says colon problems are a major problem can not go on.

But maybe if your on IV you need to call the doc anything could be going on Choc dont let it go. I am a firm believer if something dont feel right call the doc. You know your body better than anyone Listen to it.

If its nothing major then nothing lost but if it is something serious you wont waist time getting worse.

I think my babs treatment is slowly helping i get vague feelings of wellness off and on.
Back and hip was killing me this week. Last night i moved a certain way and the hip quit hurting so i guess its a nerve or something. I dont know if the babs meds are effecting it or what. This stuff can be so confusing sometimes.

Anyway enough about me call the doc just incase ok. Let us know what he says.

Thanks all--

Graneet--Will call if this continues--

Have some Wall Mart mag--Will load up tonight--not sure how much is in IV but prob. much. will find out.

I always need encouraging and pushing to call the doc--I would rather chew my foot off. Did mention it to him a long while back---but then it went away--he said then-- hormones.

Thats another story.

Weakness--this kind--does feel like something else.

Wil let you know.

Thanks all.

Choc.
