I ended up in the ER last night. I had a fever of 103, a heart rate of 145 and difficulty breathing. It was frightening. All the tests showed nothing of any significance--except that my "oxygyn saturation" was not good.

I'm a bit better today--but still have a lot of tightness in my lungs. Anybody ever experience anything like this? I've been on Mino for about 3 weeks--that's the newest drug added to my routine (have been taking 500mg of Zith for months).

Side effects of mino can incluce: cough, dyspnea, shortness of breath, bronchospasm, or exacerbation of asthma.

You could be having a side effect of the medication and should mention it to your LLMD.

My shortness of breath is much worse on mino than on other abx.
