The past few days I have completely lost my appetite. I don't feel sick, I'm just not hungry at all.

The only difference is that I started taking neurontin. Just small doses. I started at 100mg at night, and now I'm up to 100mg twice a day. Could that being doing this?

I find the only reason I'm eating is so there is food in my tummy when I take my meds. Maybe I'll lose a couple pounds before I go to the beach Saturday

I have a similar thing happening to me but for me it's from IV Rocephin. It happened last time I was on it (two years ago). I'm just not interested in food, even if I am hungry. I dropped about 30 pounds last time, then gained back about 10. Now I've dropped that 10 again, and I'm only a month into the treatment.

Couldn't take neurotin. Hard on my stomach.
Also worried me about seizures.

Hi Aniek !
I to am currently taking Neorontin 300mg.. I take this for sleep and it seems to be working just fine.

As for loosing any weight, I did find I lost some while I was on IV Rocephin.

I think we all go thru loosing weight no matter what we are on!

Aniek, I too am taking Nuerontin a very higher dose than some have posted----1800mgs a day (through out the day of course.)

It actually is for seizures but docs SAY--- that it helps with pain and sleep too..... And beleive it or not it has actually helped me tremendously for all.

It also helped me loose weight that most of us lymies end up gaining. So, I have no complaints about it.

If you end up loosing to much weight, of course, then there's concern ....Good luck, Jamie
