For those of you on Babs meds can you tell me if you started brusing more. I am getting lots of brusing on my left leg.Strangely its also the hip and leg i have had problems with this week with pain. The pain is gone but now i have numbness on top of foot and on arch. Also some on the left side of leg.

I am noticing tho a huge bruse all across the front of my calf of the leg. And several other brusing around the same area.

Did any of you notice increased brusing with your babs treatment. I have found other little bruses here and there to.
Thanks Graneet

Yes, I get this too and it was also on the left leg. Bruises from below the knee area down towards my chins. Comes and goes...

Hi,

I had a lot of bruising prior to starting tx for Babs and am now in my 14th week of Mepron and Zithromax. My bruising has gotten better along with some other things.

The thing that I didn't have before and now have is dark urine. Coincidence? I think not.

Hi
The bruising is a common Babesia symptom and could be a form of vasculitis...I had the bruising before Mepron/Zith treatment and it is gone now.

The dark urine too/blood in urine (hemolysis)is a Babesia symptom.

I was the opposite with the dark urine. I had it before I started treatment and it goes away a while after starting mepron (both times).
