My doctor has written babesia script for quinine and zithro. I'm picking up artemesinin on my own because he knows nothing about it.

I believe that quinine was the old standard before mepron. Is it just as good? Or is it like everything else and it is very individual for the person.

I say that because I noticed on another thread that someone was not able to clear babesia with mepron and zith, but had to change to the more controversial Larium to get rid of it.

I think there are different forms of quinine but that is what my doc wrote on my script...600mg.

I take quinine and clyindimicyn i rotate it ten days on and ten days off then on the off days i take ceftin.

I have read that quinine alone wont work it needs the clyindimicyn. Now whether it works with zithro i dont know.

I have only had two rounds of it so far to early to tell much.
