Most people on here talk about yeast and getting rid of it. Heres my question. How do you know if you have a yeast problem? I know about vaginal yeast infections, but is there other types of yeast problems, and how would you know if you had them? What does it do to you and how is it treated?

Take acidophilus assiduously as far away from the abx as possible ( I know that might not be so easy!). Also, I have a feeling grapefruit seed extract is good against yeast (perhaps wuth olive leaf extract). And watch for the "fuzzy tongue"
I know it sure is tiring to have to worry about all this stuff!

Hi BarelyB,

Well for me the first sign is usually my tongue, but it can mimic lots of lyme symptoms like joint pain, fatigue etc. As was already mentioned above.
I have also had itching in my ears that was yeast related, Nystatin has helped me alot.

Here is a good book that can help you understand more.
The Yeast Connection Handbook, by William G. Crook, MD.

There is alot of informaiton posted on Lymenet too, if you do a search just put in Candida or yeast. I hope this helps.
