"Dr H. closed his talk on a hopeful note, mentioning that for the first time in 20 years, he has seen evidence of a possible treatment solution occurring right before his eyes, "in my office during the last 30 days."
A patient had come in who suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease, and was given glutathione by intravenous injection to remove heavy metals stored in his brain cells.
"Neurotoxins produced by the Borrelia spirochete, or Lyme disease bacterium, also interact with heavy metals in our cells," Dr Horowitz pointed out.
After being given the IV dose, the patient showed 90 percent improvement within ten minutes. His joint pain was gone and his cognitive symptoms improved markedly.
"We repeated the experiment doing a double blind test with saline instead of the glutathione," Dr H. said, adding that the results were encouraging and consistent.
"All these chemicals in our bodies cause inflammation, and glutathione seems to act like a sponge that pulls them out. I'm very excited about this."

Yes, if you use the search feature you'll find quite a few discussions on it.
I've found that weekly glutathione injections work better for me than the IV, however, I'd been getting the injections for 2 years before I got the IV so I was probably "cleaner" than the typical person who gets introduced to glutathione by IV.

Thanks for the replies! I did a search. It seems not everyone has good results. Dr. tells me you can get glutathione in a nasal spray now. May try it.

I had one IV Glutathione at my llmd's office on Aug 9th for the first time and i left there with the clearest head i've had in years and it took away (could be coincidence?) a nerve pain that i'd had for months. Unfortunately this llmd only offers it in his office which is 7 hours away from me.
I have had several doses of Glutathione added to my IV after hydrogen peroxide infused and felt immediate results for about a day. I also just felt better. Not able to really describe it. It was different when I did NOT have the Glutathione added.
I observed a man with Parkinson's come to the clinic (where I receive treatments) with high lead and he received his round of chelation treatments and Glutathione and walked out a new man.
I also have observed a young female in her 30's diagnosed with MS experience relief with Glutathione.

Hi DLL!
I got mine from discountblvd.com it's 250mg. It was on sale for $18. The cheapest I've seen it anywhere else is $32. That's for 60 casules.

Hi, and thanks for the links.
Is Glutathione taken only when liver enzymes are abnormal, or do you take it anyway.
I ask because my LLMD's instructions were that if my enzymes came back raised, then add sublingual Glutathion. As I'm in the UK and can't seem to find it here and a friend is going to NY very soon, I thought I'd order some either just in case I need them later, or to take as a preventative measure - if it works that way.

I take it every day. My liver enzymes have never been elevated (I also take milk thistle daily). My LLMD has me do the glutathione as a general detoxer.

I have no experience with iv or shots. I do take a heaping tbl of ground milk thistle seed every day and have recently started Alpha Lipoic Acid and NAC which are suuppost to raise glut. levels too.
My live numbers are always ok but I figure more is better. I keep hoping something will work.

My hopeless Lyme case turned around earlier this summer after Dr. H gave me N-acetyl cysteine, a precursor to glutathione that sells here for about $10 a bottle. 2 grams a day helps a lot.

Hi Terri, Forgive the dumb question, but I didn't see sublingual glutathione at the site you mentioned. Are you using their TwinLab glutathione capsules sublingually? I take them that way and they really help, but if they make a tasty sublingual glutathione product, I'd love to know about it.
I'm thrilled to learn about the site you listed, because I've been paying way too much for my glutathione. I would have given it up if it didn't help so much just because of the co$t. If they make a sublingual, wow...
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Lonestar!
I WISH it were a tasty sublingual but unfortunately it is the Twin Labs capsule. I used to mix in a small amount of d-leucine to make it more palateable but stopped.

Do you mean that you just break open a gelcap under your tongue and let it dissolve - is it basically the same as buying sublingual?
Also regarding the NAC, I have never taken this and I am not sure what is meant by that it's a precursor to Glutathione. Can I take NAC INSTEAD of Glutathione and get same effect?
Thank you for your answer. Maybe someday they will make something that tastes better. Until then, I'm really glad the TwinLab capsules work so well this way. Honestly, I almost start to crave the taste whenever I find myself getting a Lyme headache.
Thank goodness for the patient who first told me that I should use the stuff sublingually in order to get the maximum benefit. It took me about a week or two of taking it that way before I detoxed enough to really see it work quickly.
It's wonderful stuff. I can't help but wi$h I could try the IVs. The shots are great, but one of our doctors here puts ATP in the shots along with the glutathione and that wires me way too much. That's why I prefer capsules.
Hi DLL, I just break open the capsules and hold them under my tongue. It's been so long since I used the NAC, I honestly can't remember how I felt on that.
