Hi All,

Had mercury removed from the right side of my mouth two weeks ago. Now have about 18 itchy hives on various parts of the right side of my body - mostly inner arm.

Am taking a homeopathic and some detox meds. Am not on antibiotics now.

Anyone else get hives after mercury removal?
Any suggestions on what to do?

Sonoran

Dunno, but there are some mercury detox discussion sites that might help, if no one here knows. You can try http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ANDY_INDEX.html

And there's a yahoo chat group associated with it.

I got much more full-blast symptoms than hives when I started mercury detox. Some supplements you can take to move mercury out of your system are N-acetyl cysteine (a must, since it also supports liver function), broken cell wall chlorella, activated charcoal, and alpha lipoic acid. You also need to take chelated minerals and lots of vitamins to replace the health-supporting metals being drawn out of your body, and some sort of liver support, such as liver flushes, milk thistle, schizandra, or Zhang's Hepa Formula 2.
