where are they now?
someone should have contacted me..i've been off lymenet so long didn't see this one...

I can contact someone from the ri lyme coalition and see what czn be done, but other than pay for meds IF ordered by a physycian and covered by insurance here in RI, there are NO drs here who deal with lyme...it IS a crime..a very sad one....we have a Ronald mcDonald house across the street from RI hospital, but I think you have to be a patient there...hve here give them a call at: 401-274-4447...I"m sure they'll take her in while she is so sick..

Have her call me if she needs to also ...email me for my phone number, or lish's mom has it also, as do some others...

ok...

Lish's Mom..
Have you talked to Doc J
s office about getting her to Norwalk Hospital if she should go into dietress again?

Doc K has priveledges there, in the neurology ward. This as a plan should she go into arrest again.

Otherwise..are they planning to see Doc K in his office asap?

She needs the team of J and K.

Hoping they get there..

Mo

I am hoping and waiting too.

I have not heard from Lishka's mom.. and finally called her this afternoon.

No one answered.. and I left a message.. so I am waiting to hear back from her.

As soon as I know something.. or she comes back online.. one of us will respond.

In the meantime...

You all are SO wonderful!

So many hands reaching out to help... and so much caring.

That is what life is all about!

Thank you for your kind offers.

We will see what we can do...

Try to hang in there till we get back at ya...

OK?

Hey:

Still here, worrried and hoping for info and to help.

If the Oregon folks still need a place to stay, my house is available.

I'm in CT, about an hour from Drs. J, K and F in NYC.

Dr. K has admitting privs at local hosp. (20 min) from my house.

I'm getting concerned that the reason we haven't heard anything is due to the fact they may be too busy dealing with a crisis.

Like everyone else, hoping for an update.

love,
andie

I have NO information as of yet.

The mothers phone was not working yesterday...but I was able to leave a msg this am and am waiting for a return call.

I have two RI people who are trying to investigate as well, so, maybe we something will open up.

As a result of this terrible sitution, I will ask that everyone boycott Hampton Inn.

Shame on them for being more worried about "having two EMT episodes, so kicking mom out" rather than concern for the child!!!

I'd like to find the contact info for this Hampton Inn and let them know what I think of the "good Samaritan" attitude towards this family.

Mom has been given the list of resources that you all have provided me. She is in a different hotel this evening, and will hopefully, after discussing with Dr. Jones, what the next step will be.
She CANT afford to stay in the motel, but had checked in when she finally contacted me. (her cell phone had died w/no battery plug in until she got to a motel or something)
I also sent her the URL here, and she was on the phone, and on a computer, and was touched!...she will get a good night sleep and then begin to worry about tomorrow when tomorrow arrives. She is totally exhausted!!

I have some contact with some higher ups who are going to begin looking at this and hopfully offering some legal remedy for what has happened.

I asked her to post here, but she was going to nap first...I suspect that her nap may take a very long time, as shes exhausted.

Will keep you posted.

PS Daughter is seeming stronger today.

Lishs mom,

Thanks for keeping us updated. If she would like, perhaps folks who can help, could call the hotel and pay for a night for her and her daughter. At least she would not have to worry about lodging.

Please email me at [email protected] if you think something like this will work.

Dear Lish's Mom:

Thanks for the update!

Please add me to the list of people willing to contribute.

I want to support whatever approach feels most managable for this poor, beleaguered mom and child.

Tomorrow is going to be another bit of "pedal to the metal" day with some of
JC's issues (mostly health/school admin/ appts)but I will give Dr. J's office a call to let them know I'm available, too.

Thanks for keeping us posted, Lish's Mom!

And...for the other Mom and little girl out there..if you're reading this:

We are here for you and you don't have to do this alone anymore!!

I wish I knew how to do some great funny faces and graphics to cheer you up, but I'll leave that to my more technically talented compatriots. (And you know who you are! )

All the best,
peace and prayers,
andie

Hey Lil' Angel!

We've been thinking about you and the little one!

Everybody here wants to know how you're doing and whats been happening since your return.

I hope things have settled a little and you have gotten a bit of a plan of acton. You couldn't be at a better place to get that kind of support than here at Lymenet.

There are so many wise Lyme folks here who are generous and willing to share what they know.

Kind of like a "random acts of kindness day" except its 365.

Being without a phone is the pits; thank goodness for the internet!

That being said, I'm not sure about how to transfer you to the right site...sorry.

But I will push this "to the top" so those in the know can help out.

Please keep us posted when you can.

Hugs to you and kisses to your little sweetie.

love,
andie
