You mentioned in another post that you are seeing Dr K in CT.
i am going to be seeing him soon, and was wondering if you could tell me a little about your experiences with him.
What treatment does he have you on, and what other types of treatments do you think he will try in the future?
also, what kind of testing has he done?
i am very hopeful about him because he has gotten very good recommendations from others on this list and most of my symptoms are neurological in nature.

The Immunuglobulin approach is puzzling. Is the methodology behind the treatment to strengthen the immune system to eradicate the bb, or supress an immune response to the bb?
The Newsweek article said "K used an experimental regimen of intravenous immunoglobulins (naturally occurring antibodies) to tame her overzealous immune system."
Doesn't this statement assume that Lyme symptoms are being caused by the immune response, not the bb? If this is the case, why don't Steroids, which tame the immune system, have a beneficial effect? Needless to say, they've harmed many Lymies.
I've heard mixed reviews about the efficacy of this ex$pensive treatment for Lyme.
