I know fevers can be a symptom of Lyme, but has anyone had their body temperature increase as well as decrease?
I have a fairly low normal body temperature, and I felt feverish today. I took my temperature and instead of being a degree or two above normal, its a degree or two below my usual temperature.
Though my boyfriend had said earlier in the day that my forehead felt hot.
Maybe my thermometer is broken.
But still. Have you had fevers that fluctuate in both directions within the same day?
Do you have Babesia? If you do, this is probably the cause of your temperature issues. I have Babesia and have severe hot flashes that eventually cause sweats etc. If you perhaps haven't been tested for babesia, have your PCP or LLMD run a test and send it to Igenex.

I haven't even been tested for lyme yet, but my appointment is next week. I will write that down and make sure I ask about it if the LLMD doesn't bring it up first.

If this helps, I was usually cold with Lyme. Just could not get warm.
I healed at a snail's pace, but eventually my body temp. returned to normal and symptoms have faded.
I never told anyone all my symptoms because I didn't think they would believe me. Hang in there....time, good drugs, supplements; all will help you heal.

This is a very very very common symptom among us lymies. Many think it is babs related. My LLMD does.
I used to become freezing cold every night. Couldn't get warm. Would get into 110 degree hot tub and feel like an ice cube floating in water I knew was hot, but couldn't melt me. My temperature always went down a degree or two during these episodes. Its much better on abx and even better on mepron zithro for babs.
My LLMD is sure I have babs altho I've been tested twice and haven't come up pos yet.
