Guys don't forget I need ya'll "MAILING" address. My scanner is broke.
Just to give ya'll a clue to why we get overwhelmed 90% of the pages are from our first visit with Dr. C and the rest are given at different visits.
I have around 30 pages front and back then about 5 that are just on the front.
Remember I am not sending ANYTHING that has a certain protocal on it. As his patient you get even more then what I am sending out.
This is all research he has done and in general info. I was just re-reading some of the pages and it was like ohhhhh, yeah..right.. He is a totally amazing man.
I have heard sooo many wonderful things about some of Dr. C's complimentry protocals (such as those involving hormones and such) that I would love a copy of what-ever you can send me---I need to learn all that I can
I am sending you an e-mail--but here's my e-mail if you see this thread first
This is so nice of you! I'm sure it will be helpful to so many people.
I think of you guys every time I cut the Heparin in 1/2. By the way, does Dominic like lemon? I found crystallized lemon packet that the kids use to get the Heparin taste out of their mouth. I could send him some packets if he would like to try it.
Jordan stopped the Heparin last week. He was so bad and we thought it was a herx.
He had a sinus infection and was treated with Zithromax (Z-pack). On the 5th day he didn't want to move. He said that it was so painful just to move his eyes. And he has been through a lot the last 5 years.
The Zithromax really hit him hard and it was only 6 pills. I think the Heparin much have made it so much more effective. He had been on Zithromax twice a day for three months for Bartonella before and didn't herx this bad.
He had stopped Heparin for 5 days because of a mix-up with the doctor and pharmacy. He had recently increased to 6000U twice a day. We now know that he still has Lyme or co-infections.
Jordan and his dad just left for Kansas City for an appointment with Dr. S (endocrinologist). He will have dual stim testing done tomorrow. His growth hormone is extremely low.
After tomorrow's appointment, Dr. C will decide what he wants to do from here. I'm thinking that he needs to go on an antibiotic.
I think you are a marvelous woman to offer to do this for so many lyme patients whose LLMD's don't make handouts available like Dr. C.
I've read marvelous things about him too. 1 of his patients also shared some handouts with me...thorough!
Thank you Dr. C for sharing your expertise with the nationwide/intl. lyme world!
Hope you get wonderful results for your son and your 1st patient appt! Betty G., Iowa
Glad to see you showed how much postage is per envelope plus the copying is extra too since everyone is on their own fixed budget including you. Betty G., Iowa

Starr, Do you have a Paypal account? That would make it so easy to contribute, rather than send money through the mail.
I bet you'll need to buy lots more paper, ink, and mailing envelopes, plus driving to the post office.
I want to contribute $10. Carol

For those of ya'll that have already emailed me ya'll will get a copy. I hope it doesn't upset anyone but I am worried about who's hands this will fall in. Please try to understand.
PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT PUT THIS ON THE INTERNET, DON'T SCAN TO MAKE IN EMAIL FORMS.
I hope this helps many people but if in the wrong hands could hurt one very wonderful dr.
Anyway it does take alot of time to copy, and get ready for mailing so after Wed that will be it.
I have to pack for MO on Thur to leave on Friday. I will be gone a week but I will be checking in on dial up so i won't be around much.

I received my copies. Thanks so much for doing this, Starr! I will send some money for postage soon as my disability check gets here.
I have one question about the handouts that maybe you or anyone who received the copies can answer.
I had 3 one-sided sheets. One of them begins with "Try 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar". It doesn't have a title and almost seems like it's supposed to be a second page to something but I went thru all of them and can't figure out what it goes with. Anyone know?

Thanks Starr. I received my copies this week. I read the info on the herx and will try to read the other info when my brain and eyes allow it.
It is nice to have.
I too noticed the page on the appple cider and wondered where the page was that must go before it. I thought it was just my lyme brain and I needed to go through the paper work again later.
I hope to get a check in the mail today for you.
Thanks for taking on this big project.
I know the info on the herx helped me.

Thank you Starr for Dr. C's handouts. I found the first read through very enlightening. I plan on going back over them since there really is so much there to take in. Again thank you for your kindness.

It's hard to believe that you haven't seen that link in all the posts that it has been posted. Maybe you didn't realize that this was the one and the same that folks are talking about when saying Dr. C of MO...but, anyway, there it is.
Just curious as to how you've miss him.
Here's the Lymetoo's link that is in General Questions forum titled, What do you like about Dr. C?

Thanks, Starr! Glad to know it wasn't my brain fog keeping me from figuring out what it belonged to.

Add my name to the list -- emailed you my address. Are you sure $1.75 is sufficient to cover postage and copy costs?
Am unhappy with my husband's LLMD and am thinking of Dr. C as an option. Hopefully this info will shorten my initial phone call requesting info about the office.
Have learned the hard way to ask lots of questions in advance about insurance and costs and follow-up appointments etc.
Thanks again.

My biggest concern is does Dr. C have someone on call nights and weekends to cover emergencies such as drug allergies or questions about med reactions ? This has been a problem with other doctors.
Also, will the doctor make changes to med protocols during phone appointments or between office visits? My husband has had some really scary med problems and we had to wait almost 2 months with no antibiotics until our next appointment.
Another time I faxed his current doctor and asked what I should give my husband for pain -- a new symptom. He was in so much pain he was nauseated and having dry heaves which led to "seizure-like" activity. The next day the doctor sent me a fax and suggested I take Steve to a pain clinic!
Thanks in advance.
