I am considering trying HBOT in a hard mono-chamber that has become available near my town.

The operator of it says that the only reason people have customarily scheduled 2 sessions a day for 2 weeks for lyme is that people usually had to travel to a Center like the one on Chico or New England, and they wanted to get in as many as possible during their 2 weeks at the center.

Since I don't have that restriction, would 1 session per day be effective?

Must it be 1 session per day every weekday for 2 weeks, or will it be effective if it is every other day for 4 weeks, or every few days for 6 weeks?

What is the optimal schedule & spacing of HBOT appointments?

Tempe

The doc is right, there's no evidence that twice a day is better. Some centers do once a day for 60 m, some twice a day for 60 m, some once a day for 90 m, some 3 days a week, some 5 days a week, some 6 days a week etc etc.

Length of time in terms of weeks and months is more important than once or twice a day. If you do only two weeks, you won't get a lot of benefit. Those who do best do it over a period of months, minimum 3-6 months, imo.

I'd go with the most aggressive tx possible.
