Hi everyone!
I have had lyme since Sept 2002. Just been diagnosed in October and have been on ketek and flagyl for one month now. I have had double near vision since jan 2003. I am wondering if anyone else suffers from this and if it went away with treatment?

Yes!

I have horizontal double vision, periods where it feels as if I am wearing someone else's eye glasses (not blurry but weirdly distorted) and "sparkly blue" vision.

I know that I have had it since at least Feb. 04 but probably longer - it is so constant that I am used to it!

No, it has no improved on abx. Currently I am on Ketek and Mepron. In fact, since starting the Ketek my "eyeballs" have started hurting.

My eye pressure is fine and mechanically everything is perfect with my eyes so it is neuro-related.

The only thing that has helped at all is acupuncture. It only lasted for a few hours but it was amazing!

Sorry that I can't offer more than just my experience. I empathize with you though - it is a rotten symptom!

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
