Does anyone take quinine sulfate for leg spasms? My doctor said it's an over the counter meds, but he didn't say what mg/strength, any recommendations, dr. said to try what works for me!

Plaqunil is a synthetic quinine, but it requires a perscription. Quinine is used for Babesia and Malaria. However I have not seen it over the counter. It was banned from our store shelves years ago. I could not find it in Mexico, but could in Africa.
It is also available in Tonic water, but there is a lot of sugar in Tonic water. it is a muscle relaxant and helps with constipation as well. The flavor is an aquired taste, I about threw it up the first time.
