In the last two months I have been diagnosed with bilateral tendonitis, tennis elbow and golfers elbow and arthritis in my knees. I have also had the following symptoms: stuff neck and numb lips irregular menstrual period ringing in my ears feelings of vertigo trouble getting a word out.. I am 29 and live in Los Angeles... I hike mostly in Griffith Park and the Santa Monica Mountains... All of my blood test came back fine, except, I had antibodies to lyme disease.... 69 to be exact, with a note next to this saying that 120 antibodies was considered borderline... these symptoms have been going on for over 3 months and are not getting better....and no doctor is taking this seriously as if all of these things are happening independent of each other. Does this seem like lyme disease to any of you???
I have a terrible HMO (Kaiser Permanente)and am lost in the system.
Any response is appreciated.

Cristy, One of my first symptons many years ago before I knew I had Lyme was "tennis elbow". The MDs couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was finally diagnosed with a "connective tissue disorder".
Over the years I have had symtpons that were treated independently with symptons subsiding and re-emerging.
Finally connected the dots 16 months ago. Get it teated NOW...ASAP aggressively. MA

Cristy,
I recommend you go to the support group section and look up the support groups nearest you. They can give you recommendations on a doctor who can properly evaluate you, and treat you if necessary.
There are several good Lyme doctors in S CA.
In the meantime here is some reading to start your education.
