I have a weird throat symptom.
I have had it for 5 months but it has recently gotton worse.

My thoat is not sore and it does not hurt.
It is uncomfortable. It feels as if my throat is very narrow, something is stuck in it, and someone is squeezing it.

This makes it difficult to talk, swallow, and sometimes breath.

It isn't as bad as it sounds but it is really bothering me.

My thyroid is normal. Does anyone know what it could be?

Could it be acid reflux?

You dont have to know you are "fluxing" to have acid reflux and you can very easily get it from antibiotics.

Hey there!
I won't attempt to type your name as I can't even begin to say it!

This is the 1st sympton I had when I became ill. I felt like something was stuck in my throat all the time. It finally went away after I took doxy for at least 2 weeks. It sometimes starts to feel that way again and I half way panic because I know what it feels like! CRAP!

Sorry I don't know what to tell you to do about it. I am finished with the doxy and going to start ceftin tomorrow. I hope it doesn't start the throat thing again.

I do know ice cream helps but I am on a sugar free diet now and don't eat much subsitutes.

What abx's are you on?

I think alot of other people have had this too so maybe someone will be able to help more than i can.

Take care and I pray it stops for you too! Mule
