Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if its okay to take caprylic acid (for yeast control) and Ceftin at the same time with meals?

For that matter how about other supplements and Ceftin?

It doesn't say anything about avoiding any particular things on the RX handout that came with the ceftin.

I'm just being confused since I didn't take anything at the same time as the Doxy.

I don't want the abx to lose any lyme killing power.

I don't see why you couldn't. You need to be taking SOMETHING to counteract the yeast. Alot of us take Nystatin on a regular basis to keep the yeast at bay.

Nystatin works differently from caprylic acid, but I know it's OK to take Nystatin along with abx.

It's the acidolphilus you need to take 2 hrs away from abx....make sure you are also taking this.
