Hi, I usually turn colors during the colder months of the year. I was told that it's due to poor circulation. The normal coloring comes back when I warm up. Good luck!

I have this occasionally with my right leg, although I went for a long period of time without it. I had a Doppler on my legs which didn't show any circulatory problems, but who knows if you can believe that. I was also told at one time that I had Reynaud's syndrome. So, I'm not sure what causes it.

Is it localized just on his legs or all over? Like RMSF? Lookup up and read symptoms for ACA and ( acrodermetitis chronica atrophicans) (sp) also read up on Babesia...As I think that they can all have the same similar mottling of the skin which some call a rash...
Also see if he develop any sero-sanguineus staining in that area after a few weeks, ( the skin turns dark) in that spot.
My LLMD says that is due to the tissues being destroyed by bacteria under dermis. Either way Heparin would seem questionable to me.
