Jordan's legs have a purplish color to them. If you put pressure on his skin, the skin turns white.

I told Jordan that he is a human MagnaDoodle !!

I remember this happening to Jake at one time and Dr. Jones said it would go away with treatment.

He is currently on oral heparin, Cedax, hormones, and pain meds.

But, I'm wondering what causes this. Does anyone know?

Hi,
I usually turn colors during the colder months of the year. I was told that it's due to poor circulation. The normal coloring comes back when I warm up.
Good luck!

I have this occasionally with my right leg, although I went for a long period of time without it. I had a Doppler on my legs which didn't show any circulatory problems, but who knows if you can believe that. I was also told at one time that I had Reynaud's syndrome. So, I'm not sure what causes it.

Hi Pab,

Is it localized just on his legs or all over? Like RMSF? Lookup up and read symptoms for ACA and ( acrodermetitis chronica atrophicans) (sp) also read up on Babesia...As I think that they can all have the same similar mottling of the skin which some call a rash...

Also see if he develop any sero-sanguineus staining in that area after a few weeks, ( the skin turns dark) in that spot.

My LLMD says that is due to the tissues being destroyed by bacteria under dermis. Either way Heparin would seem questionable to me.

Just a thought

Boejr
