Is there a connection between increased joint pain and cold weather? It has been a bit colder here lately and I'm in a bit more discomfort (as if I thought that were possible) than I usually am. I'd like to think it was cold and not me getting worse!

Yes! Rain is the most commonly thought of for increasing joint pain, but bone-dry cold will do the trick too. My manager doesn't have lyme, but has joint pain for other reasons and we're both dying as the temp drops.

I always find that I need to be more active in the colder weather to feel good. I started skiing 7yrs ago, and moderate the depth of the pitch of the slope based on how healthy I feel, but it always feels better to get out there.
