I just noticed something last night. I have dipples in my legs. It looks like actual chunks of my legs have been taken out.
I dont have chubby legs ( even though I am fat mid belly) and I havent been on any of the quinolones abx which I read can do something like this
I've just never seen anything like this. I have about five spots. The biggest one is on the top of my knee , I can actually stick my finger down in it. Not on the bone of my knee, but right near it.
Anyone have a clue?

I'm wondering if you've noticed excessive wrinkling also? I have the dimples that definitely are not cellulite, and now the wrinkles are spreading to parts of my body that have little or no fat.

Hello,
I have this sometimes, and for me it was like a Cushionings Syndrome, which is I think? the opposite to Addisons Disease.
It is to do with the Adrenals, and if you read about Cushionings, it tells of some body parts, mostly the fattier areas, the legs, taking on a cushion appearance.
People can get this from long term steriod use sometimes, causes the adrenals to shrink, with long term steroid use, maybe this is why lyme people do so poorly after steroids, their ADRENALS have shrunk and cannot fight anymore, PERHAPS, if they built up their adrenals, they would get better. I am going to post a seperate thread for this, maybe help someone.
For me this is because of too much sickness, body starts to break down, tissues start to break down, it has to do with also I think? vitamin C, because when one is stressed, vitamin C gets depleted.
When we are sick, like some of us are, constantly bombarding the body with heavy dose antibiotics, the arenals get a kicking, and beat up, it is really important to have the individual find the RIGHT therapy for treating lyme, the right dosages and so on. Somes adrenals are stronger then others, so perhaps may be able to handle higher dosages, while others are much more fragile and can only handle low dose therapy of antibiotics.
ALSO, candida can cause or play a part in this...
Our poor bodies are getting worn out... it has to do with too much cortisol, the cushionings syndrome.
I had a time when I had too little cortisol, then used the licorice root tea, then I was doing well, then... I started to go into a cushionings syndrome, and could not take licorice root tea, because I had too much cortisol. I took the licroice root tea, which is high in natural cortisol, and I became SO agitated, and sickish.
It is really confusing perhaps, but because I have gone through it all, and studied it, and journalled what worked at that time, I can know for myself.
I had it for a while and my muscle enzymes were low - aldolose or something - but don't ask how they changed cause I can't remember.
I'll do some checking for ya. I also have the wrinkles in my legs (my case from losing weight) and lots of dimpling too - but i think what you are talking about is more related to the muscle enzymes.

Lymetoo, thanks for the link. I have to look at it. Trout:
The yeast is kicking my arse. Right now, Im doing 1/2 pill of nystatin a day, as much Kyolic Garlic as I can possibly find, just got some digestive enzymes going, megadophillus,
capryllic acid, oil of oregano. Im ordering a whole bunch more crap and seeing a ND in January for it also.
Im no longer on abx due to problems with every single thing I take ( wheezing, cant breathe, INSTANT headaches, neck pain, pressure, etc) I take Xango for my head pressure and it DOES WORK.
Off to look at lymetoos link
