Just wondering if anyone knows anything about an infectious disease doc in Somerset by the name of Dr. N? I've heard very few good comments of infectious disease docs but I'm hoping that this one will be different because I'd really love to have my treatment covered by my insurance. If anyone can give me any feedback I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I live right around there and I've never heard of it him. I go to Dr. E in Jackson, which is about an hour and a half away from where I live. She's worth the drive though! If you visit to Dr. N doesn't work out, look into seeing Dr. E.

Give me another letter or a town. I've been to an ID named Dr. N but it was in Summit, not Somerset. Dismissed me having LD in about 60 seconds.

Thanks for the input...

The doctor I'm going to see does work out of other locations in the area through a group called ID Assoc.-here are a few more letters in his name Nah. I'd appreciate your feedback so I know whether it's even worth seeing him!

I'm going to the appt. armed with a + test from IGenex, but I don't know how much credit he'll give that...I'm so relieved to finally have a + test and I'll be so disappointed if this doctor refuses to listen to me or take me seriously.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the good advice...

Do you happen to know the name of the website that lists the "not recommended" docs off hand?

The last thing I need right now is a doctor to discredit the lab results that I have.

Thanks so much for sharing your story-I'm very grateful for all the information that you can share!

DQ,
What are the chances that they will review my Igenex results or will they quickly dismiss them? Sounds like a waste of time and energy at this point...

Thanks!

I know of several MD's in this group. One from personal experience and also from dealing with them in a professional enviornment. (I am an RN- worked in a hospital that they are attendings). Feel free to email me at [email protected].
