Go to www.podipatch.com to learn more.

My LLMD recommended them as well as another person I was seeing before coming down with lyme.

I started mine last night...I herxed until 2 pm today..but felt great...

Tonight I put them back on..and pow my temperature went up...1.5 degrees!!

Thinking....a higher body temperature caused by this is helping

I have noticed that since finally taking XanGo ALL the time....1 ounce 3 times a day...my herxes are livable, AND the abx seem potentiated.

Of course...the IV Claforan is also helpful.

My feet smelled smoky even after washing with saop & a brush. The smell was worst the first night. My fleece socks smelled faintly smoky, like a campfire even after going through the wash. A small price to pay for soooooo much relief. After 5 days of Podi Patch I felt like a normal person for 3 whole days. Pain in feet and ankles gone. Then I ran out of patches and started going downhill. Now I'm trying the "bargain ebay patches" So far not as good a podi patch, will report more soon. I kind of miss the healing smokiness!

Hey my "BBQ Smokey Stinky Feet Club"

Kam, marblenose, hatsnscarfs, and troutcout and myself - the current Podi Patch brand members

Welcome EZ-E to the club!

Hey, I miss you all since I've been too busy with the holiday season and I'm very anxious to see what's going on today. It feels great to chat with everyone on LymeNet and I have to say the good, the bad, and the ugly stuffs I'm learning from everyone is awesome.

Have a funny story to share about my day with my girlfriend and her 10 y.o. son. Chris said guacamole gives him gas during lunch and later in the car he asked how does an airplane stays up in the air like that. Me and my silliness have to come up with something crazy, of course. So I told him if you give it enough guacamole it will have enough "air" to stay up there.
Chris couldn't stop laughing and I couldn't believe I just came up with that.

Anyway, I like to laugh and be happy so I always want to be upbeat all the times. I also love everyone's post about the stinky, smelly, smokey BBQ podi patch.

Oh, Kam. Guess what? I got (well, aware of I should say) that I'm already having one month of podi patch Xmas gift from my wish list. Yeah!!! I guess I'll be stinky for a while, huh.

Tomorrow I'm going to Disneyland for Xmas theme. My friend works there so she's taking me. I have not been there almost six years because I was too ill until now. You all know walking and standing is like a torture because of our condition. Podi patch makes all this possible for me. It's a blessing. I wish all of you could be a part of this.

EZ-E: let us know how your podi works for you. We all are current user so we can help answer some of your questions and maybe reactions using this product.

Have a wonderful day.

I also started IV yesterday and so the combo is realy positive for me. I just picture wonderful little creatures inside my bod chewing up all the skeets and getting rid of them.
I will heal, or as my friend says...I am in a healing state of mind!
Blessings to all,

I'm back. Disneyland during Xmas is absolutely beautiful. The castle looks like a fantasy land and the Xmas decorations is unbelievable. I've never seen a Xmas tree so big and tall like this one. The place is packed with people and who would have thought a Wed to be so crowded. She also took me to California Adventure Park and it's great also.

EZ-E: You and your son are going to have a great time. If you can do during Xmas theme would be nice. A suggestion for meals. The foods at Rain Forest restaurant is very good, big portion and price is the same as inside. The restaurant locates in the Disney Walk and it worth the trip if you can do it. Keep your ticket stub or stamp your hand to get back in the park. Oh, about the free pills. It's awesome. My energy increase a lot and my white blood cells increase too so I have not have a flu like symptom since taking it. Does anyone else get the herb from AKG Naturals? Don't waste it. If you don't use it give it to me. Just kidding.

Sizzle: Your question about John Butters site is crossed out - the info is from last year and I had problem last week check it out too so I called the company. They said they are currently upgrading the page, but the products are still available for purchase if you email or call them directly.

It's wonderful to know so many of us have good result with podi patch. As long I'm feeling better it worth it for me.

A little tired today because of too much fun yesterday.

Happy Holiday

EZ-E: I believe agaricus will help with your fatigue problem like it did for me. Well, why don't you started out with 2 caps of agaricus tomorrow morning after a good breakfast. That's what recommended to me by Kalie. I was fine with that for 3 days like that and then I add another 2 caps after a lunch. I now take 4 caps a day and ok with that. Whenever I feel I might have a cold coming on I would add another 2 for dinner and I'll be good the next day. But that's very rare so I just keep my 4 caps daily.

I don't take any other supplements since agaricus has something minerals & vitamins in it. Like you I don't care too much for supplements. I have done other cleansing programs such as colon, liver, parasite, female organs, and kidney. Those helped a lot. They (AKG) had me rotated these and soon I'm going to do the blood cleanse/ purifier. I'm very excited to try these.

Eventhough agaricus helps but I still have to take care and not to exert myself too much. Like today, I'm a little tire after a long day at Disney. There's only so much my body can handle and I cannot burn both ends of candle. Ya know.

Take care and hope you have more energy soon.

In the past my several previous doctors could never figured it out, of course. Recently I was told by several sources that my symptoms are very similiar to lymes. I'm getting my blood test with Igenex after Xmas to confirm.

My symptoms are chronic fatigue (thyroid problem I'd thought), liver & spleen problems, difficulty with breathing at times especially when I'm too exhausted (I guess my lung has problem too), severe body aches and pains especially ankles and feet, memory lapse (foggy brain), migraine headaches, flu like symptoms every week and a year ago I had these rashes that does not go away. I've been doing very well recently since my treatments, but of course I would say I'm 85% to 90% better. Soon I will know for sure.

I was told by different people about different illnesses through the years. I was quite frustrated because all I really want is to feel good waking up in the morning and throughout the day so I search for the solutions. Hopefully this is it.

I thought I had to live near woodsy area to get lymes, but discovered I could get it from mosquito bite as well.

In your opinion do you think that lymes is a possibility? I'm sure the test will tell me. I'm trying to understand this disease as much as possible and LymeNet is a great place to learn. I've learned and discovered so many info that's very helpful for me. Appreciate your asking and concern, Robi.

BTW, I'm a major girly girl. I read your respond.

Merry Christmas

Well, I am not qualified to say what you have......only an LLMD can DX you. Even a test from Igenex cannot tell you for sure whether you have lyme or not.

A positive Western Blot most likely means your positive, but a negative doesn't prove your negative. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis. Your SX sound like many of the lyme symptoms.

One thing that makes me doubt you have is lyme is that you are 85-90% without antibiotics.

I am definately into alternatives. I have always used natural remedies, holistic docs and refused antibiotics.

With lyme though there is no choice.....I do many immune system builders, high quality supplements, eat clean meat and organic veggies and exercise. No alcohol.

If this could be overcome without abx I am pretty sure I was a good candidate for that.

I had to give in and go the abx route.....several alternative providers ( accupuncturist, holistic doc, naturopath and chiropractor all STRONGLY suggested I go the antibiotic route).

I hope the test with Igenex helps wih your dx and your recovery.

Peace and Health,
robi

I can see there has been a lot of activity on this post that I have missed.

I read about your Disney Trip FF9. Yahoo!

I heard that it is now $60 to get into Disneyland. Is this true? It is worth it to me, but I think of the families after you also add food and travel costs. Whewph!

Who are you seeing to find out if you have lyme FF9?

EZ-E we are both still in the stinky feet club for this month. I have forgotten which day it is for me.

Since I used 6 patches up the first night, I will come up a week short of a month.

I also am taking the pill, but haven't noticed any difference yet.

I'm trying to get a hold of my doc. My NP suggested I stop all meds until she is able to contact him to see about getting the rocephin and zithro to go along with the Mepron and Arteminicin.

I tend to agree. I stopped all meds today. I called his office but the answering machine was full.

I have been too low functioning for too long..it is really getting to me. If stopping the meds for while and detoxing with the foot pads and clay and epsom salts works..I am all for it.

FF9,

You aren't going to like me after I say this....

it is called LYME Disease.

There is NO such thing as LYMES.

I am sorry...but, you will...after awhile understand why so many of us detest the mis-pronounciation of the disease that has destroyed our lives...especially when it is so easy to spell and pronounce.

Hey Team Smokey BBQ Club

Still a little tireness left today. I guess the price I have to pay for a "good time".

Trout: Thanks for the correction. I appreciate that since English is my secondary language. If you all haven't noticed that yet.

Kam: Welcome back.....I believe the cost for adult is $50 and child is $40 for either Disney or Calif. Adventure. If you want to go to both on the same day it is $70. Yeah, quite hefty. I'm lucky my girlfriend works there so she brought me in free as a guest. The employees get so many free tickets to use and then they also get discount price too. 50% I think. If anyone interested in getting discount I can check to see someone can get you in. The discount is good for meals expenses. Employee also get 20% off for meals. It's great to have a job there.

Robi: Thinking about antibiotics and other drugs that you all have to take everyday my heart goes out to you all. When I first gotten sick I was on many different drugs including antibiotics which I just detest. After one year of those drugs my health deterioted even worse and he had no clue what's wrong with me so he decided that it's all in my brain. He recommended me to see a psychiatrist for depression problem. Go figure. The expert, right?

I then changed to chinese herbalist in Chinatown in Los Angeles. I did this treatment for over 3 years and finally I can't stand brewing the herbs for hours and 3 times a day. The worse part is drinking it. It gotten to me so bad that finally I only ended up throwing up every time. If you've tried the chinese brew you will know what I'm talking about.

Well, next I tried western herbs and other naturals stuff. Most of them was a major waste of money and some does something but still not enough. Finally, I got the Podi Patch info from LymeNet and I gave it a tried a few months ago. I found it helped me a lot, but of course it still takes some time so it is not a miracle patch to works after 1 or 2 weeks. I then use agaricus, the free bottle of herb, that takes a little time also before it kicks in. Kam, make sure you're taking at least four a day after breakfast and lunch, alright. I've taking it up to 10 a day to see if my body needs more than 4. It helped so I occasionally taking higher dose when I feel tired. This is a natural ingredient herb so it does not function the same as drugs. I've been using too many herbal products so I understand it somewhat.

Your question why I don't need antibiotic or other drugs the only thing I can think of is after so many years of trying all types of treatments I think it helped my system already. Even if they recommend me to take drugs right now I would refuse anyway. I want to detox my body and taking drugs will put toxins back in so I'm not interested. I figure if I'm feeling good now I must have done something right for me so I'll continue that step. I've learned to listen to my body and not always listen to doctor's recommendations just because he said I need it.

I feel that we all should chose something for ourselves because it feels right not because others said so. Others can recommend, but the final choice is always your very own choice. I wish one day we all will be healthy, happy, loving, compassionate, and successful.

I'm thankful that you all care enough to share the info and support what I need. As well as some good and fun chat as well. Kam, I need your sense of humor so I have something to smile about.

At this very moment I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday.

FF09-
You were probably herxing off the antibiotics. And how long were you on them?

In an earlier post, you mentioned you recently went to an LLMD who said you were better off doing what you are currently doing - sorry, but I'm just not buying it.I just can't believe a real LLMD would say that without testing you.

I'm all for using alternatives as a supplementation to antibiotic therapy and believe they have assisted in my recovery - but I SPENT 8 MONTHS on antibiotics UNDER THE CARE OF AN LLMD - and am still under her care.

lymeinhell: I took your advice to find an LLMD to get tested for lyme, but I have not had my actual visit with him yet. I'm seeing him after the holiday. He said since I'm doing well right now with the treatments I've been doing he recommend that I should continue. I've also started my Raindrop Therapy thru someone he knows so that helps.

I did at least a year of antibiotics and other drugs, but then later I don't want to continue and the doctor I had was horrible anyway. Remember I've done so many other stuff thru the years as well. I still have my moments, mostly fatigue, but I don't think of it. I meditate, do yoga daily and use positive thinking to support my body. I avoid negative people, events, and even thoughts because I know these are poison which stop my body from getting heal. I like to read inspirational books or articles for mental well being and shifting myself to be joyful, helpful, loving, compassionate, and especially grateful for being alive and have what I have right now. Drugs are just drugs. I believe all the things that I do and practice everyday gives me an extra step to my health.

It doesn't matter what disease I have. Whether lyme, diabetes, heart, liver, etc. it is a disease that I want to eliminate. A phrase I read, "God does not give you more than what you can handle." I guess he knew I reached my max before.

I've also learned thru the years many other practices that I still apply right now. Eating organic foods is one thing, but preparing it or when to eat certain foods are another method. I believe all these contribute as well. I like to read so I got many info from different books and there's a lot of free alternative classes in L.A. so I attend those.

I don't have all the answer about my illness, but I'm only focus on how I feel each day. Worry doesn't work for me anymore.

It seems you are doing well and I wish that you continue to be. Take care.
