I just looked into this too and I hope its not what i have. How can you get these infections when you are on so many antibiotics it makes no sense. I was on ketek and bicillin shots, before that biaxin and bicillin. does the cycle ever end

FYI I am having extreme abdominal pain and nausea is really massive and looking for answers, maybe yeast still, maybe some other bugger.

what are the symptoms of pylori?
different from c.diff?
yeast? how do you tell the difference symptom wise???????????????????????????????????????????

Jordan has been having these same symptoms for about a month, despite being on 2000 mg of Biaxin daily! He had a CT scan done last week and we are seeing the LLMD on Wednesday. Is there a simple blood test for pylori? Would you mind sharing any information? He's unable to take any meds/supplements/or even eat without problems at this point!

If acids, or any form of negative charges ALONE knocked out infections, how can H.Pylori survive in the very, very acidic stomach?

They use a mineral and an acid to knock it out. Magic formula. Little mineral, lots of acids -> hydrogen. Hydrogen INactivates the enzyme PFK which is rate limiting for glycolysis. Basically you are saying to the bug...no more sugar for you. Gotcha.

Zantac and pepto bismol... Look closely at the ingredients. Citrates also INactivate PFK.

Early on before I got a diagnosis of lyme I did a simple blood test for hpylori...see you gastro guy it gave me heartburn and reflux so bad I carried antacids around with me everywhere...after the 14day course of specific two abx's not sure one was but I was told one was flagyl...I did'nt get heartburn again....that is until I get some meds that cause it...

also noteworthy is I was told that hpylori and lyme cross referrence in blood tests...so even though I've been successfully treated for hpylori and don't have symptoms I still test positive for it due to my continued lyme infection.

hope this helps somewhat.........zman
