Does anyone know of a family doctor that believes in lyme disease? I wanted to go to an infectious disease doctor for treatment for lyme. My family doctor doesn't believe I have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I have the test results but he won't accept it. I have a lyme doctor 5 hours away but can not afford to go anymore. I feel my insurance should help me pay. I have Health Assurance. My family doctor refuses to refer me to an infectious disease. He said I am mentally insane. What a mess of a situation.
