I have a wonderful LLMD in Calif. Dr. H. The problem I have he doesn't take (opted out of Medicare). I medicare as primary and blue cross ppo is secondary. If like Dr. H doesn't take Medicare then blue cross also doesn't pay. I can't afford the $1000 a year to see present doctor four times a year. My request can anyone suggest a excellent LLMD in Calif. or Nev. that has not opted out of Medicare. The doctor doesn't have to be a provider of medicare. Please email privately [email protected] I have used Dr. H for about 18 months and my wife retires this March. This is when Medicare becomes primary and B/C secondary. Thank for any help in this matter. Andy Posts: 3 | From Mammoth Lakes,Ca USA | Registered: Jan 2005

I'll send you some names. The pickings are slim. The doctors who do accept Medicare get innundated with very ill patinets, and have a hard time keeping going. That is why they don't take Medicare, or limit the patients on it.
